Yankton Children's Theatre Company established in 2007 as a Non-Profit Organization.
Our mission is to provide area youth a secure environment for creative self-expression through a variety of performing arts programs and production opportunities.
We seek to instill a passion for the dramatic arts in children while building self confidence and leadership skills which will serve them throughout their lifetime.
Our primary goals include:
Building self-esteem and self-discipline in youth through personal and group achievement.
Teaching children to create and to be creative through dramatic exploration and expression.
Developing advanced technical skills for older youth through opportunities to assist with directing, props, costumes, make-up, lighting, sound, and set building.
Strengthening families by encouraging hands-on family involvement and offering productions that the whole family can attend and enjoy together.
